Meet Dr. Jen Yeager
Jen Yeager, DNP, is the founder of Medical Grade Aesthetics. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jen continued her education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned a master’s degree and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP). She also holds specialty certifications as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) and a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
Jen began practicing in 2007 at an academic medical center. She worked in Critical Care and Trauma Surgery for 12 years before discovering aesthetic medicine and applying her skills to the emerging fields of nonsurgical cosmetic procedures and wellness treatments. Through Medical Grade Aesthetics, she strives to improve the quality of patients’ lives by enhancing their image, inspiring confidence and sharing the transformative benefits of self-care.
Jen is actively involved with professional organizations and educational programs. She is a member of the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa), the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Nurses Association (ANA), the International Society of Capitol Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN), The Aesthetic Complication Export Group (ACE), the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). She is an educator in multidisciplinary healthcare teams and schools of nursing, as well as a presenter at surgical conferences, and has been published in the official journal of the ANA.
Outside of the office, Jen enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling, discovering new podcasts and documentaries, and spending time with her husband, children and dogs.
