The Injection Process
Step 1: Consultation
Your 5-star experience at Medical Grade Aesthetics starts with a one-on-one consultation to receive a personalized plan of care. You can discuss your history, concerns, and goals for treatment with your licensed medical professional, whether that’s for your double chin or your bra bulge. We may conduct a facial analysis to determine if fat-dissolving injections are the right solution for you. Then we’ll schedule you for fat-dissolving injections in Beloit!
Step 2: Injection
Our injector will administer the deoxycholic acid in a series of tiny injections to target the fat cells. Because these injections are infused with lidocaine, it will be much more comfortable than a typical shot. This appointment can take around 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.
Step 3: Follow-Up
Because your body gradually flushes out fat cells, it will take around 4 to 6 weeks for your initial results to appear. We may schedule you for 2 to 3 treatment sessions, spaced around a month apart, to treat the remaining fat.

We don’t typically recommend doing them in the same appointment to avoid any significant swelling or bruising, but throughout your treatment plan, you can certainly get other services that meet your needs. We’ll instruct you on the ideal timeline for your full plan at your consultation.
Once the fat cells have been broken down and flushed out by your body, they will not return, making these results permanent. However, it doesn’t prevent fat cells from forming again in the area. So, if your double chin or bra bulge was caused by excess weight, then if you gain weight again, you may see that the fat re-accumulates there.
