We offer many options for injectables at Medical Grade Aesthetics, and we understand that it can be difficult to determine which injectables you need. Just starting out your injectable journey can be daunting with trying to determine if you should get filler or wrinkle relaxers, which brand you should get, and more. With so many options, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Our team is dedicated to educating every patient, so they can make informed decisions about their beauty and health.
Here, we’ll explain the details for all of our injectables in Beloit, including what they do and how they can help you feel confident in your body.
Neurotoxins
While you’ve probably heard of Botox, our team at Medical Grade Aesthetics offers even more brand options. We want to provide you with variety for your care, so we can better meet your unique needs.
Botox
Botox, the most well-known wrinkle relaxer, uses a small, refined dose of Botulinum A to temporarily prevent movement within some smaller muscles in your face. First approved by the FDA in 1989, this injectable stops the development of wrinkles by limiting movement in the small muscles in your face, preventing lines from forming from repetitive movement.
Jeuveau
Jeuveau is a newer version of Botox, but slight variations in the formula mean that Jeuveau has smaller proteins than those in Botox. Since Botox and Jeauveau are so similar, neither one is more “effective” than another, however early studies have shown that Jeuveau may deliver results faster for some patients.
Xeomin
Xeomin proteins have similar sizing to Jeuveau, but the Xeomin wrinkle-relaxing formula does not contain NAPs—or non-toxic neurotoxin-associated proteins. The proteins protect the toxin and help it pass through the intestinal barrier. Some patients prefer Xeomin because they lack NAPs, which have been shown to increase inflammation.
Dysport
Dysport and Botox use the same formula, with only a slight difference in the proteins that are included in each. While the differences between the two are still being studied, early research has shown the formulaic differences may cause Dysport to spread farther than Botox.
Daxxify
Daxxify has a very similar size and formula to Botox. However, the formula uses a stabilizing peptide to bind the neurotoxin to the polysorbate-20 surfactant (a sugar molecule) rather than a human serum albumin (HSA). HSA is a stabiliser that prevents the product from sticking to the vial walls and ensures a better consistency. This is intended to make the results of Daxxify last longer than the results for Botox.
Dermal Fillers
Unlike wrinkle relaxers that act on muscle activity, dermal fillers aim to revolumize, contour, and sculpt.
Restylane
Restylane is an entire line of hyaluronic acid-based fillers that add volume to loose, sagging skin. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance your body produces for lubrication and hydration in your skin, joints, and other parts of your body. Some of the Restylane fillers use XpresHAn hyaluronic acid technology to allow for natural movement and expression. The softer gel substance integrates into your tissue more flawlessly for a natural and youthful look.
RHA Collection
RHA hyaluronic acid fillers use minimal chemical modifications during the manufacturing process. This means the HA formula in the filler stays very similar to natural HA, so it melds seamlessly with your facial features and expressions.
Radiesse
Ideal for the lower face and the hands, Radiesse is an injectable in Beloit that uses calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa). The CaHa particles repair and improve the cellular structure of your skin, almost like a scaffold. That improved support stimulates your fibroblasts to increase your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. Radiesse can be used as both a filler and a biostimulator (similar to Sculptra).
Sculptra
Sculptra is a biostimulator that uses poly-L-lactic acid to increase collagen and elastin production by providing a scaffold for your skin to rebuild structure from within. We include Sculptra with our injectables in Beloit because it can reduce even deep wrinkles in your skin. Unlike HA-based fillers, it does not deliver immediate results. Instead, you’ll start seeing initial results within about 3 months of treatments, with full results appearing after around 6 months.
Fat-Dissolving Injections
Sometimes, stubborn pockets of fat won’t disappear—no matter how much weight you lose. Whether it’s your double chin or bra fat, our team can help address your concerns with fat-dissolving injections. These injections use deoxycholic acid to break down the membranes of fat cells, causing the body to metabolize the cells and remove them naturally.
PRP Injections
Another popular option for injectables in Beloit is PRP injections. PRP stands for “platelet-rich-plasma,” and platelets are the part of your blood responsible for clotting so that healing can begin after an injury. PRP injections take some of the platelets from your blood, concentrating them to re-inject into your skin. The healing properties of these platelets can encourage new collagen and elastin and treat skin concerns naturally.

The Injection Process
Here is what you can expect when you decide to move forward with injectables in Beloit.
Consultation
First, you will meet with one of our expert providers, who will take the time to learn about your concerns, your goals, and your medical history. With this information in mind, they will discuss your treatment options with you, going through every detail until you both can create a care plan that addresses your concerns and helps you feel confident in your body.
Injection Process
For your injections, you will need multiple injections within the same appointment. So on the day of your appointment, your provider will cleanse your skin and mark the placements for your injections. They will make sure to check in with you throughout the process to ensure you are still comfortable.
Results
Results will vary depending on the specific type of injections you receive, but your provider will go over those expectations in detail during your consultation, so you know when to expect initial results and full results. If needed, your provider can also help you schedule additional appointments for your injectables in Beloit. After they provide you with your post-care instructions, you can return to most of your normal daily activities.
How to Care for Your Injections
Following your provider’s pre and post-care instructions will help you achieve the best results and heal quickly. While your provider will have specific instructions depending on which injectable you receive, here are the most common pre and post-care instructions for all of our offered injectables.
Pre-Care Instructions
- Avoid exposing your skin to direct sunlight the week before your appointment. Wear a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen when going outdoors, making sure to reapply every 2 to 3 hours.
- Do not take any aspirin, ibuprofen, or vitamin E for at least a week before your treatment. These blood thinners will increase your risk of bleeding after receiving your injections.
- Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine about 3 days before your appointment.
- Drink plenty of water the day of your appointment and eat a light snack beforehand to avoid lightheadedness.
Post-Care Instructions
- Continue to avoid alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine for an additional 3 days after your treatment.
- Continue drinking plenty of water to keep your body hydrated. We typically recommend drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day.
- Do not touch your injections, especially for fillers and wrinkle relaxers. This could move the product from its designed placement.
- Avoid exposing your injection site to heat, especially hot showers, saunas, and hot tubs, for at least 3 days.
- Avoid strenuous exercise the day your injections are performed. You can typically return to normal activity the next day, depending on the recommendations of your provider.
The More, the Merrier
Pairing your injections with other treatments can boost their effects and provide you with a whole-body aesthetics and wellness experience. Here are some treatments that pair well with our injectables in Beloit:
Facials
Facials are a great treatment to complement your injections. Where injectables can treat concerns under the skin into the dermis, facials treat the uppermost layer of skin, creating surface-level, visible results. Skincare like facials will deliver instant improvements while your injectables build collagen and elastin within to create longer-lasting results.
EmFace
EmFace is a revolutionary treatment that lifts your features without the need for injections or surgery. Emface combines radiofrequency (RF) energy and high-intensity facial electro stimulation (HIFES) to increase collagen production and improve the quality of your facial muscles. This helps lift your features, tighten your skin, and boost the effects of injectables you receive.
Emsculpt NEO
Emsculpt NEO works similarly to Emface, but larger applicators use radiofrequency and high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) stimulation to burn stubborn fat and build muscle tone on the body. When combined with fat-dissolving injections, it can boost the effects of treatment, while giving you a more sculpted figure.
