RF Microneedling and Botox in Beloit

The Secret Power Duo: RF Microneedling and Botox

At Medical Grade Aesthetics, we enjoy pairing certain treatments together to multiply the benefits our patients can enjoy. One of our favorite combinations is the coupling of RF microneedling and Botox in Beloit!

RF Microneedling

RF microneedling already has one treatment combination within the device. During treatment, microneedles on the applicator create small channels within your epidermis, reaching as far as 6mm into the skin. Simultaneously, the heat generated from the radiofrequency pushes deeper into the skin, reaching into the dermis to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Your body produces collagen and elastin proteins to keep your skin, tissues, and muscles flexible. Your body begins producing less and less of these key proteins as you get older, but with aesthetic treatments like RF microneedling, facials, and laser skin resurfacing, you can easily boost production.

That can not only rebuild the cellular structure of your skin but also strengthen skin to create a smooth, youthful complexion that lasts.

Botox

Botox is an injectable wrinkle solution that uses a small, refined dose of a neurotoxin called Botulinum A. This injectable temporarily relaxes the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, smoothing lines and preventing new lines from forming.

Wrinkle relaxers like Botox have been around for over 35 years, and research has uncovered more applications than just treating wrinkles. From slimming your jawline to relieving migraines, Botox has many uses—both aesthetic and medical.

Better Together

By themselves, both solutions help address and prevent signs of aging. However, they both have limits, as RF microneedling only addresses static wrinkles, and Botox only addresses dynamic wrinkles.

However, when you pair them together, you get the best of both worlds! First, you receive RF microneedling. This helps target static wrinkles caused by skin damage and loss of volume.
Then, you receive Botox injections to address concerns like frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crows feet at least a couple of weeks after the RF microneedling.

To put it simply—you generally get Botox for wrinkles that are above your eyes and RF microneedling for wrinkles under your eyes. This all combines to form a well-rounded facial rejuvenation treatment!
